Final Mock-ups

The home page serves as the information hub for the user. Here you can get quick access to your favorite contacts, and a newsfeed ordered by how long it has been since you have contacted them. This was done with the purpose of motivating the user to continually reach out to friends that they were gradually losing touch with. We wanted to allow users easy access to their favorites, but avoid putting to much emphasis on them and cause them to not reach out to other contacts they had added.

The feed provides the user with their contact's most recent social media activity. We only included one post per contact in order to avoid overloading the user with information and cluttering the feed from potential active contacts.

The contacts page addresses many problems identified earlier in the design process. We took a schedule based approach to allow users to see who is available and when. If the user is available, it gives information on the differences of time zone so that user can find convenient times to get in touch with their friends.  Additionally we gave the user information on when and how the user last interacted with this contact.

We aggregated all of the contact's social media data in one location so that the user does not have to visit many different sites to keep up with the few friends they wish to. There is also the capability to sort this feed based off social media sources.

The reminders page provides the user with the ability to schedule social interactions for a group or contact. Here we give the user information on time zone differences along with what methods of contact they have available.

We provided customization so that the user can choose the time and frequency of each reminder. Additionally, the user has options to further customize features such as push notifications the app sends within the settings page.

Our final Mock-ups were a culmination of everything we had previously created. Starting with the outlines from the wireframes we fully fleshed out the visual aesthetic of the app. After feedback and revisting our personas we ended up with a final product that we all are quite proud of.
